Welcome to Mid Tribulation Rapture. While there are many opinions about when "the rapture will be" or "if there will be one at all," what matters most is what Jesus has said about it in His Word. Not only did the Lord foretell of it personally, but He spoke to John the apostle, in great detail and measure, giving us the book of Revelation specifically so that we can have our lives in order and know what to expect. The prophet Daniel of the Old Testament was given much revelation about what would happen in the "latter times" too. Additionally, Zechariah, Isaiah and many other books of the Old & New Testament have much information to help us.
This a mid tribulation rapturesite. In our viewpoint, a mid tribulation rapture means that the rapture will happen before God's wrath is sent upon the earth. Many people who once had the "pre tribulation rapture mindset" have been starting to realize, that Christians will have to endure some hard times before the Lord calls His church up to Himself. While Christians will not have to endure the wrath of God, Christians living in the last of the last days will endure much tribulation just as Jesus said it would happen (Matthew 24:8,12-13,22,29-31). This site contains articles referencing what the Bible says about living in the last of the last days. History is unfolding before our very eyes, exactly as prophesied.
Some believers are only looking for the Lord's return, when in reality, the Antichrist will appear first. There are two important events which must happen before the rapture, as recorded by the apostle Paul:
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
These verses are true and can only apply to the rapture. Many try to say this section of Scripture is referencing after the rapture and is referring to the Second Coming. If one will read them closely, it is easy to see in verse 1, that it is referring to the rapture. The verses also say that there must be a time of great apostasy and that the son of perdition, the Antichrist, must be revealed before the church can be gathered together unto the Lord in the air.
This same "son of perdition" spoken of by apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2, is also called "the Antichrist" by the apostle John as recorded.
1 John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
1 John 2:22-23 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
From these verses (and others), we can see that the antichrist will be a "false Christ" (Christ means Messiah), who will deny that Jesus of Nazareth was (and is) the real Christ, the Son of God. This "Antichrist" will be a "false Christ," a false Messiah. Jesus warned us ahead of time.
Matthew 24:24 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."
Considerations and views about the rapture are not critical to anyone's salvation, but knowing the truth and being prepared to "endure to the end" can certainly help one to make a stronger stand. If one believes in a pre tribulation rapture and it turns out, myself and others are wrong, it would not hinder anyone. But if one is simply thinking that hard times will only come upon those after the rapture and then are still here as the hardest tribulation the world has ever seen unfolds (Matthew 24:21, Revelation 13:5-10), will their faith still stand?
Thank you for stopping by our site today and we pray that the Lord will use the information here to confirm what you have read (or are reading) about in your own Bible. And we additionally pray, that even if one disagrees with some here and there, that the articles and messages here, will at least give one something to consider and seek the Lord more deeply about. Thank you again, and God bless you today and always.
