ANTICHRIST REVEALED IN THREE PROPHETIC SECTIONS OF SCRIPTURE
Daniel 7, Daniel 8 and Revelation 17 all reveal the same evil one.
This article will show that the 11th horn of the fourth beast in Daniel chapter 7 is the same future king that rises up from one of the four kingdoms that come from the broken horn of the goat in Daniel 8 and is also the 8th king of Revelation 17. All three are one and the same evil spirit that is the Antichrist.
Please read all scripture afresh; without trying to make it fit any popular scenarios. Just read it fresh and see the emphasis added here to show how all three scenarios have the same prophetic thread. The New King James Version is used, as it is the standard version used on this website.
First, consider Daniel chapter 7.
When Daniel sees the fourth beast, there are 10 horns and from among them “another smaller horn” arises. Three get plucked out by the roots. So if the little horn is #11, with three removed it then puts him in the 8th position.
This 8th demonic king, Abaddon, will have served sometime prior to John the apostle's interpretation of his vision. And was put away. And will be loosed to rule again. Paraphrasing from viewpoint of today: He was, he was not then, but will be again. As a matter of fact, he might even be loosed right now. In time, all prophecy will be be fulfilled and “at the appointed time the end shall be.”
There is no doubt that the last beast of Daniel 7 has 10 horns, loses 3 by an 11th horn that comes into power. Which once again and put another way is: 11-3 = 8 (and note: #8 came from within the 10).
Notice the angel gives Daniel the interpretation:
Keep it in mind: #11 is also #8 who came up from the 10.
Consider this also:
1 head (from the lion with 2 wings made to stand like a man)
1 head (from the bear)
4 heads (from the leopard)
1 head (from the fourth beast)
7 heads and the fourth beast has 10 horns.
These are kings of empires. Many want to see them as human empires. But Daniel was seeing in the spirit and saw spiritual things. What man would be a four headed flying leopard? The demonic empires rule over evil human empires. Even when human leaders change from one to the next, such as with the succession of Caesars of the Roman empire or Nebuchadnezzar being the first major ruler of the Babylonian empire but there were at least two more kings that followed him before Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians. The evil domains of the devil were unseen to humans but they were there. The final beast is a combination of all of them which is confirmed in:
This final beast has the same features “collectively” as of the beasts of Daniel 7.
Let's look at another prophetic scenario, in Daniel 8, that involves 8 horns and the Antichrist.
Two horns (of the ram)
One horn (of the goat)
Four horns (arise from the broken one of the goat)
Seven horns (total between them)
And out of “one of them” came a little horn (an eighth)
It could be said that the little one that grew from the broken one, was “a fifth from the four” or "a sixth from the goat" or even “the eighth” from the total scenario.
In fact, it is #8 who will have been “of the 7” that is the Antichrist. This is very, very similar to what an angel shows John in Revelation 17 which will be addressed shortly.
Consider that if the ram was overtaken by the goat, would not his kingdom become the goat's?
The angel explained this vision to Daniel.
There is no doubt that soon, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, the Antichrist will arise. And it certainly seems to say that he will arise from one of the four kingdoms (in their latter time), that have sprung up from the broken horn of Greece.
Remember we are looking at both spiritual and physical. One demonic king might have ruled over several human kings/rulers in secession.
Let's look at Revelation 17, for the 8th ruler that comes from seven.
5 demonic kings were before John's interpretation
1 was demonically ruling at the time (but was not the final one)
1 demon king will come after John that will rule briefly
7 in total
1 more evil one to come
8 is the final total
(though #8 is of the 7) (8 kingdoms, 7 kings as 1 serves twice)
We do know who the Antichrist is: he is Abaddon, the king of the bottomless pit to be released (if not already) (Revelation 9:11) and that he is the one who kills the Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:7). See the article, The Antichrist, His Identity And Name, for more information.
These kings, these heads, these horns are all of Satan – not of humanity. Why do people try to look for humans to fit the description? Once again, what human would be described spiritually as a fiery red dragon or a beast with four heads? This is all symbolism of what is spiritual. Mountains spiritually represent kingdoms. The seven mountains in Revelation 17:9 mean seven evil spiritual kingdoms. What do kingdoms have? Kings and in this case seven demonic kings. Who says this is human? Why should it be? People with eyes looking to humanity want to pin the papal system because the Vatican sets on “seven hills” - well then, who are the seven kings of those seven hills? When was Abaddon the king of one of those hills?
The Antichrist is a demon that will be a false Messiah to the Jews. Would the nation of Israel follow at Catholic pope as a Messiah? Whatever form the evil One takes or whoever the person will be that he uses, has to be the kind of Messiah the Jews want to lead them in order to be deceived.
In closing, consider the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's dream. When the stone that was cut without human hands crashes into the statue's feet, the whole statue crumbles.
All the devil's demon-king's of the past and present will be uniting for this last rebellion. And this last evil one, will try to unite all the humans he can for the same purpose. The devil is aiming for a one world, physical and spiritual system both with the full intent of overtaking earth and heaven too and setting himself up as God. And God will allow him the opportunity to try and though he will have some measure of success in the human arena, he will ultimately fail.
When the Lord comes and shuts down this last kingdom of the devil, he shuts them all down - for they will have all joined together for their last hurrah.
Who is the mouth given to this fourth and final beast of Daniel 7, the last horn that rises up in the latter time of Daniel 8 and the demon-king of Revelation 17 who will rule the last mountain (last kingdom) of which the whore will ride, the demon king who served before and was locked away?

And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. - Daniel 8:1-12 “In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me--to me, Daniel--after the one that appeared to me the first time. 2 I saw in the vision, and it so happened while I was looking, that I was in Shushan, the citadel, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision that I was by the River Ulai. 3 Then I lifted my eyes and saw, and there, standing beside the river, was a ram which had two horns, and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. 4 I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward, so that no animal could withstand him; nor was there any that could deliver from his hand, but he did according to his will and became great. 5 And as I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. 6 Then he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power. 7 And I saw him confronting the ram; he was moved with rage against him, attacked the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one that could deliver the ram from his hand. 8 Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land. 10 And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them. 11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. 12 Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered.”

The large horn that is between its eyes is the first king. 22 As for the broken horn and the four that stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall arise out of that nation, but not with its power. 23 "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, a king shall arise, having fierce features, who understands sinister schemes. 24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; he shall destroy fearfully, and shall prosper and thrive; he shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. 25 "Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without human means. 26 "And the vision of the evenings and mornings which was told is true; therefore seal up the vision, for it refers to many days in the future."
